Sourcing directly from the Dovecote Park/Waitrose producer group, the company prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and husbandry.
We are a privately owned family business with a reputation for exceptional product, innovation and industry leading animal welfare standards. Our facilities combine traditional British butchery technique with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector.
Our 100% British, high-welfare product can be found on the shelf or butchers counter at all Waitrose supermarkets across the country, as well as the kitchens of GBK, Hawksmoor Restaurants, Burger King and Wentbridge House Hotel.
Our business is conducted on our two sites – our main facility in picturesque Stapleton, Yorkshire and a secondary site in Skellingthorpe, Lincolnshire. A committed team of over 700 staff oversee the whole process: from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.
Dovecote Park prides itself on building and maintaining a close, two-way relationship with our farmers. We only take cattle from specially selected British farms, with many of our producers having supplied us since the very beginning.
All producers who supply Dovecote Park are registered members of the Dovecote Park/Waitrose Beef Producer Group, committed to raising livestock to the highest possible standards in order to produce the best quality product.
